How München Hoben is celebrated at Linköpings University.
LinTek is the student union for students of the technical faculty at Linköpings University (LiU). They reached out to me and asked if I would like to shoot an aftermovie for their event, held during the start of the school semester in August. It was a big beer festival for 5,500 students, featuring beer from a beer stein, food, and live performances. Linnea Henriksson and Tungevaag & Raaban were among the artists who performed, and the students got to sing and dance along.
The weather was perfect, providing a big soft light source, which made the color grading process a dream. There were no specific directions on how the film should be, so I had to come up with an idea that I felt would fit the event. My goal was to capture all the energy and joy of the festival. I was fortunate to have Erik Thuvesen join me as a second shooter during the night. It’s essential to capture as many moments as possible during live events since you only have one chance. That’s what I love about live events.
